Tripund - A Great Sacrifice (From Fire to Nothingness)

Emperor Satanik possesses everything that humans struggle to attain throughout their lives: power, glory, victory, and prestige. Yet, a question arises within him, one that cannot be answered in any royal court: "Can human suffering be ended by the end of one's independent consciousness?"

In search of this answer, Satanik journeys to the secret hermitages of the Himalayas, the ancient Saptagnis, and the underground city of memory of Naimisharanya, where the past is not merely history but a living consciousness. There, he encounters an energy that seeks not to conquer the world but only to end human suffering. But the price of that liberation is the dissolution of free will, memory, and individual consciousness.

Here, Satanik will light the fire of the yajna, but this time, the offering is not merely ghee. It is the sacrifice of ego...it is the sacrifice of ignorance...it is the sacrifice of the 'I' that considers itself its ultimate truth. The three lines of the Tripundra resulting from the sacrifice will no longer be merely a mark of ashes; they will become the three stages of the dissolution of ignorance, the purification of karma, and the dissolution of ego.

The Saryu will continue to flow...the fire will continue to burn...memories will continue to awaken, and Satan will ultimately be faced with the question no human can escape: "Who am I?" And this journey, which began with fire, will lead to nothingness, and beyond nothingness perhaps lies what the sages called the eternal symbol.
